This eBook is a compilation of mostly macroscopic images of botanical subjects shot against a black background in the studio or greenhouse. The dramatic lighting and dark background make colors and subtle details pop off the screen. A number of these images have appeared in college-level botany and biology textbooks and this eBook traces its origin to the aquisition of those photos.
At the end of the book, a thumbnail of each image is paired with a brief description that expands on the caption accompanying each of the larger images.
